The solo exhibition All Systems Fail by painter and filmmaker Sarah Morris surveys her dynamic, multimedia body of work from the past thirty years, connected by themes of globalization, capital, architecture, and urban modern life. Since the 1990s, Morris has been creating paintings, drawings, films, and site-specific installations which employ geometric abstraction and fragmented perspectives. Through these means, Morris explores place, politics and power from varied vantage points within a larger social system. The exhibition is organized by Deichtorhallen Hamburg in cooperation with Kunstmuseen Krefeld, Zentrum Paul Klee Bern, and Kunstmuseum Stuttgart.
